Quarter 1 Highlights from Khulisa's Victim Empowerment Programme
Khulisa Social Solutions continues to strengthen safer, more resilient communities through its Victim Empowerment Programme (VEP). During Quarter 1 of the 2026/2027 financial year, the programme reached hundreds of community members across Riverlea, Johannesburg Central, Moffatview, Langlaagte and Sophiatown through awareness campaigns, psychosocial support, youth development initiatives and strategic partnerships.
Highlights include reaching 289 beneficiaries in Langlaagte, educating 157 learners on child protection, launching a restorative justice partnership with the Department of Correctional Services, and celebrating Youth Month through community-led events. Together, these initiatives are helping prevent violence, empower vulnerable individuals and build stronger, safer communities, one conversation at a time.
