ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Produce clear, high-quality reports

PART TIME SETA ACCREDITATON AND SITE VERIFICATION SPECIALIST

Khulisa Social Solutions is a national NPO empowering communities through accredited training and skills development. We are seeking a part-time specialist to support us in obtaining and maintaining QCTO and SETA accreditations across our training sites in South Africa.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead QCTO and SETA (CETA, ETDP, Services, HWSETA, etc.) accreditation processes.
  • Align training materials and curricula with occupational qualifications and SETA standards.
  • Conduct site readiness assessments and oversee verification visits.
  • Develop and maintain a compliant Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Mentor staff on accreditation, learner management, and compliance.
  • Liaise with SETAs, QCTO officials, and training partners.
  • Compile progress and compliance reports.

Role overview

  • You’ll guide Khulisa through the full accreditation and site verification process, helping ensure our training programmes meet QCTO and SETA standards and are ready for official certification.

Requirements

  • 5+ years’ experience managing or implementing QCTO/SETA-accredited programmes.
  • Proven track record in accreditation submissions and site verification.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Skills Development Act, QCTO policies, and NQF.
  • Excellent communication, mentoring, and project management skills.
  • Available part-time and willing to travel to various sites.

PART-TIME POSITION
Are you passionate about using digital tools to create social impact? Khulisa works with fledgling NGOs across South Africa, many based in deep rural areas, where access to local funding is almost nonexistent. These NGOs are tackling urgent community challenges but lack the equipment,
connectivity, and training materials needed to deliver on their promise.

We’re launching a crowdfunding initiative to help these NGOs raise R20,000 – R50,000 per project—providing the tools they need to serve their communities effectively. We’re looking for a part-time Crowdfunding Lead to design, manage and grow these campaigns. This role involves crafting compelling stories, managing campaigns on platforms like BackaBuddy and GivenGain and driving donor engagement.

You bring:
 Fundraising/crowdfunding or digital marketing experience
 Excellent writing and storytelling skills
 A passion for social justice and community upliftment
 Ability to work independently and deliver results
 Bonus: experience in the nonprofit or development space
