6th international award in 12 months.

RELEASE DATE: 12 February 2024

In just 12 months, Khulisa Social Solutions has proudly won its 6th international award as a leading NGO in the social development sector. The organisation’s latest accomplishment is an award for the Best Social Solutions Not-for-Profit 2024 – South Africa, by the prestigious GBI Magazine (Global Business Insight). The 2024 Global Business Insight Awards celebrates business leadership, innovation in finance, & success in the investment and sector space across all seven continents of the world.

These annual awards are an illustration of the very best that different sectors have to offer and celebrate the very best in the industry, highlighting individuals, teams, and organisations from various disciplines.  The 2024 Global Business Insight Awards endeavour to identify and celebrate those who fall within the Business Insight umbrella, whilst not forgetting the advisors who helped them get there.

Through their groundbreaking work in South Africa’s most vulnerable communities, from creating sustainable livelihoods through capacitating micro-agricultural enterprises, capacitating NGOs to implement peace-making interventions, and to programmes that support youth education and development, Khulisa is at the forefront of addressing the most pressing social challenges.

Khulisa Social Solutions’ selection for this esteemed award is a testament to its commitment to social impact and its contribution to the community in South Africa. The organisation’s dedication to making a difference has been recognised by the Global Business Insight Awards, which have undertaken extensive research to ensure the selection of only the most elite honourees.

“We are honoured to receive this award and be recognised for our efforts in creating positive social change,” said Lesley Ann van Selm, Founder and Managing Director of Khulisa Social Solutions. “This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team and partners who have contributed to our success.”
